1. What is WallStreetSignals.com all about ?

Answer : We have compiled a database of over 8,400 stocks traded on the NYSE, ASE, NASDAQ, Bulletin Board and Pink Sheets. Every day, financial data for every stock is downloaded into our bank of computers and analyzed by hundreds of formals that calculate "score" for several Fundamental and Technical aspects for each stock. Each stock is then "rated" and "sorted" by each of these "scores" and website scripts were designed to allow visitors to WallStreetSignals.com to view "Stock Lists" containing all the stocks by several classifications. These classifications include listing stocks by their "Industry", their "Rate of Return" for several time frames, their "Price Momentum", the "Money Flow" into them, their "Dividend Yield", their "Earnings Growth", their "Technical Score", their "Fundamental Score" and their "Total Score" This means visitors can view, in one easy to read table, all the stocks he or she is interested in, within any category of interest, all sorted by the best stocks in that category at the top, down to the least favorable at the bottom, along with all the pertinent data for each stock, so the visitor can compare one stock to another.
  2. How can Visitors use the content of WallStreetSignals.com ?

Answer : We have constructed scripts so that visitors can pull up "Stock Lists" grouping stocks in a wide variety of categories. One grouping lists stocks by their "Industry" so that visitors can view all the stocks in a given Industry sorted by each stock's "Total Score". This enables visitors to see which stocks have the highest "Score" in each "Industry", along with all the pertinent Technical and Fundamental data for each stock so that comparisons can be easily made. Or, a visitor can merely call up a "Stock List" of the highest "Scoring" stocks of all the 8,400 stocks in our database. The "Stock List" also includes much of the data the "Total Score" is based on so that visitors can see the whole picture in one easy to read "Stock List". Other "Stock List" categories include stocks with the highest "Increase in Earnings", stocks with the highest "Dividend Yield", stocks with the highest "Rates of Return" for several time periods, stocks with the highest "Price Momentum", stocks with the highest "Money Flow" into them, stocks with the highest "Technical Scores", the highest "Fundamental Scores" and so much more.
  3. How does WallStreetSignals.com calculate each stock's "Score" ?

Answer : Every day, large amounts of Technical and Fundamental data is downloaded into our bank of computers for each Stock and Industry. Hundreds of proprietary formulas use that updated data to calculate "Scores" in several important areas of evaluating a stock.  Each Stock and Industry is then "Ranked" and "Sorted" and stored in our database for retrieval by visitors to our site. For more details about the data used please visit http://www.wallstreesignals.com/ScoringDetails.html.
  4. How can visitors use the daily generated Stock "Scores" ?

Answer : The "Scores" are designed to allow visitors to quickly view which stocks are currently Favorable, Neutral or Un-Favorable based on the daily data.  Based on 100 % being the highest "Score" possible, the "Total Score" is comprised of the most critical Fundament and Technical data for each stock each day.
  5. How do the "Color Signals" work ?

Answer : Almost every column of data in the "Stock Lists" has a background color:  Green for "Favorable", Yellow for "Neutral" and Red for "Un-Favorable".  This allows the visitor to look at a stock on any of our "Stock Lists", and move across the row the stock is in to see all the "Technical" and "Fundamental" data for that particular stock.  Each piece of data is highlighted in Green, Yellow or Red. A stock with a row of Green highlighted data is Favorable, and one with a row of Red highlighted data is "Un-Favorable".  "Total Scores" are also highlighted in color allowing the visitor to quickly see which stocks on the "Stock Lists" are Favorable.  "Total Scores" of 65 % or higher are considered Favorable and highlighted in Green. You may view the "Notes" as the bottom of each "Stock List" to see how each column of data is evaluated.  For complete details concerning what constitutes a Green, Yellow or Red background color, please visit http://www.wallstreetsignals.com/HowColorSignalsWork.html
  6. What is the Current Stock "Value" and why is it so important ?

Answer : One of the most important calculations we make every day for every stock, is the stock's Current Stock "value" as expressed in Price. The calculation is based on the Leading 12 month Earnings Forecast, "AAA" Rated Bond Yields, Return on Total Capital, Earnings Growth Rate and the CPI Inflation Rate. The stock's Current "Value" is important because it is an indication of where the stock's price should be based on the criteria mentioned above. If the stock's Current Price is ABOVE the Current "Value", then the stock is considered to Expensive in Price and could trade lower, unless the "Value" moves up. And a stock with a Current Price BELOW the Current "Value" is considered to Cheap and should move up in Price until it reaches it's Current "Value".
  7. How can I view Stocks on WallStreetSignals.com ?

Answer : We have designed scripts that allow visitors to view stocks in any criteria desired.  Stocks can be viewed by Industry so the viewer can see all the stocks in an Industry.  The "Stock List" will start off listing all the stocks by their "Total Score"with the highest Score on top. However, the viewer can further "sort" the List in several criteria including "Rate of Return" for several time frames, Highest Increase in Earnings, Highest Dividend Yield, Highest Value vs Price, Highest Volume,  Highest Price Momentum and more. Or, visitors can call up stocks with the Highest  Money Flow into them, Highest Technical Score, Highest Fundamental Score  and more. And since we up date our data daily, the "Stock Lists" will look different each day.
  8. Can I view "Total Scores" for Stocks I own or want to research ?
